Drivers can also tailor their driving experience with Outlander PHEV, thanks to the integration of seven different selectable drive modes. Normal is the basic mode which has been optimized for normal daily driving conditions. Tarmac mode spotlights Outlander PHEV’s sportiest behaviours,
with a more responsive throttle and enhanced handling performance on dry paved surfaces. If your adventures take you off the beaten path, Gravel mode will provide a balanced approach to unpaved roads, and Snow mode maximizes traction response while navigating Canada’s wintery conditions. Taking things one step further, Mud mode optimizes tires slippage for superior handling and response on muddy roads and in deep snow. In addition to these modes, drivers can also select between Power mode, which delivers powerful acceleration when needed, and Eco mode which prioritizes efficiency for economically friendly driving.
