The Dynamics Of Design With Seiji Watanabe
Seiji Watanabe is based in Okazaki, Aichi Prefecture, Japan, where one of Mitsubishi Motors’ major manufacturing and R&D facilities are located. A graduate of Tsukuba University, School of Art and Design in 1987 Watanabe joined Mitsubishi Motors Corporation in 2018 as Executive Design Director. As head of design, he oversees design studios around the globe. With the introduction of the new Mitsubishi Outlander, we wanted to get his perspective on what makes the Outlander so unique in the marketplace and how it fits with the brands unique design language.
